"Staff was friendly and on check out when telling her about it and other safety issues was welcomed about the issues.
Cleaner needs to do better toilet was dirty shower needed Cleaning had dirt and what looked like mold. Beds on wheels that can move needs tidy under neath and dishes brush dirty needed to be replaced. Only real reason was given 3 star was friendly staff and beds were comfortable"
"Very clean and today and in great location. Opposite food trucks and bagels for quick coffee and dinners , 5 min walk to town. Lovely setting with garden and stream in back area . Older motel so no mod cons and looks a bit dated but good shower pressure and warm enough ."
"A private, well-appointed apartment that provides all you need for a short or o longer stay in Wanaka. Lovely views of the Mountains. Alan and Helen were excellent hosts."
"Lovely quiet and spacious studio with balcony. Has everything you need and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. About a 10-15 minute walk into town. Everything was immaculately clean."
"No coffee machine, floor was very cold to walk on.
The room was heated via a heat pump, not ideal as it created more draft than warmth.
A heated towel rail is a must as you are requested to retain your towels to "save the environment"."
"We were there before the pre-ski season rush and it is clear that the new management wants to impress. The kitchen and accommodations were clean and inviting and the kitchen was well equipped and well organized (including labeled fridge and pantry locations for each room). I appreciated that they had a dishwasher which saved time in the kitchen and made me feel the dishes were actually clean unlike some other shared kitchens I’ve used. Great location as well- walking distance to the lake front...
"The property was large, clean and spacious. But there were issues. The air-conditioning remote was lost and we couldn't get the a/c to work properly and my son got so hot we had to move his bed into the living area. Also, the apartment advertised access to an indoor pool but this was not communicated on check in or at the apartment, so not sure if this was real or not. Luckily the weather was nice and kids swam in the lake. "
