"The owners and staff here are amazing. They were helpful and friendly and genuine. The pool is nice and there in nice seating around the pool and along the oceanside as well as in the bar/restaurant The rooms could use some TLC and attention, but they have clean beds and AC, and all of the beauty of the bay just outside, so it could be overlooked. Especially with such nice people running the place. It is, IMO, a step above a hostel, A great bargain, not a luxury hotel. We rated it high, because...

"I was told to call 24 hours in advance, and the lady that answered said we did not have a reservation and she spoke very good English, and this was two phone calls one by me and one by my friend who is Panamanian. She said she had not dealt with Hotels.com since Covid, I booked another place not through hotels.com You refused to publish my review… and that is wrong wrong wrong. "Beautiful, quaint, secluded place! The only sounds are the birds, waves and breezes. On a bluff that overlooks the ocean, few min walk to beach. You might have the beach to yourself. Nice little pool on property. Clean and comfortable, great service, great breakfast. DIRECTIONS: Take one of the plentiful buses to Penonome from Panama City's Terminal Albrook, getting off in Las Uvas. ($3.50) Contact the property before you get there and they'll pick you up. "

"Ivan and his wife were gracious hosts. The property is well maintained and we loved the location. Breakfast is wonderful. The cheeseburger is the best I've ever had. Food is high quality. The beach is beautiful. Quiet, with few people. Make sure to ask Ivan where to go in the area. He will send you to some great places. Nicco's is a must. Thanks for a great stay!"
