"Lovely hotel, but some aspects of the service could be improved I stayed for two nights from 3–5 November and overall found this to be a lovely hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend the hotel itself. Unfortunately, my experience at reception took some of the shine off the stay. On my first evening, I returned to my room to find that my room card would not work. "If you plan to go and visit Flåm, the hotel is highly recommended. The location is perfect. The food and beverage at their restaurant are great. And the staff is helpful and kind. Also, welcome drink and compliment snack/drinks were really appreciated since we were tired by long drive. The whole experience at the hotel and Flåm was greatly amazing."

"We had a wonderful visit the property right on the fjord our room with balcony overlooking the fjord. The restaurant was excellent and breakfast was plentiful with nice selection variety. My favorite was the Lobby Bar with draft Heineken as after coming in from our days on travels seeing the local sights it was so refreshing having a cold beer relaxing on the balcony. The staff eas all so helpful and friendly. Hope to come back again."

"The hotel is very charming and cosy, in a wonderful location with great views. It's close to the main road and there is a grocery shop and a cafe within a 10 minute drive. We were greeted by the staff at the entrance, given the key and then we were free to explore the area and take in the surrounding views. The room was spacious but cosy, functional and very clean, the bed was comfortable and warm. The building has seen better days, but everything is clean and well taken care of, so our stay...
