"This hotel is a great location if you are going to visit the crazy bust Plitvice Lakes park. It is about a 16 minute walk to Gate 3. The check in staff were very helpful with assisting us to buy online tickets from the correct website. A review of the best way to optimize our time in the park was also provided. The room had a comfortable bed but there was a slanted ceiling above the bed so I was not able to sit up comfortably to read in the bed. The bathroom in room 3 is large with a walk in...
"We selected this place because of its proximity to the NP. We told ourselves to lower our expectations, but that wasn't necessary because it was a warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable place. We slept really well. The breakfast was a special touch. Also there is a lovely restaurant just steps away for dinner that was great too (Rustic Lodge and they do accept credit cards). We would definitely stay here again!"
"The location is very close to entrance 2 when driving, which is why I selected this hotel. It was easy to have a car here with free parking. The host gave excellent recommendations on which route to follow at Plitvice Lakes, where to park, and on a dinner spot. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of food! Not to be missed! I had a wonderful stay."
"It was clean and close to the park with is a huge plus. The recommendations from staff was helpful. Make sure you check to see if your AC works before you check in."
"Building and room were modern, spotless, well equipped and comfortable in size. Check-in was friendly. Adjoining restaurant (owned and/or operated by the same family I believe) was outstanding and after eating there our first night, we returned there our second night. Only downside was the refrigerator in our room was a little noisy at night."
"We knew we were not going to be at the hotel long in Plitvice so we looked for a place that we could save some money and this was a way better place than we expected. It is not big - it is 5 or 6 rooms and a small kitchen so if you are looking for a lounge or something then this place isn't it. If you are looking for a clean place with a helpful host, then this is great. The shower was great too! Only a 5 minute drive from Entrance 2."
"Great place with a great location. The best part? The staff. They were very friendly and welcoming. Great overall value and experience.
Minor things to change - they need to install shower racks. Minor inconvenience as we brought our own shampoo, etc. and we had to place it on the floor of the shower.
Also, would recommend to have their restaurant close a little later for dinner, maybe 10pm or 10:30pm. Most places in the town close early for dinner. So if you're driving from out of town...
