"For the price for room condition dated old mattress in which leaning one side tub high water accumulation of water during shower five ten minutes to drain and shower head bar not secured in place. Food and service à la carte afoul service extremely poor slow 55 minutes to get our salad which was not eatable. Needing to mention 1/4 full .Hotel completely outdated bar service poor basically self serve. Believing this hotel convenient due to the park but believing area room rentals and restaurants...
"Beautiful, peaceful location, clean room and comfortable bed. Distance to entrance 1 Plitvice National Park is about 6km so not the 1 minute walk as described but still convenient."
"Was a beautifully maintained place. It's on the edge of the park, park is 5 minutes away. Everything you could ask for. We were off season and had a hot breakfast, not sure you can do that if they're busy. Take the time to talk to the owners- they're very interesting folks."
"Hosts very helpful. Our room was fabulous (no. 12). Boba (the host) bakes like a demon. So many baked good for breakfast! Milan (host ) gave us excellent advice on where to walk and when. And also the dinner recommendations (Antonio’s bistro) were fabulous. Highly recommend this property."

"A fantastic place to stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful in suggesting how to tackle Plitvice Lakes in the time we had to maximise our visit. We were offered a home cooked evening meal for €20 for 2 courses. It was delicious and well worth considering if you stay here, just note you need to pay in cash for the meal. We hope to be coming back here at a different time of year to experience the incredible lakes and will definitely be staying here."
