"The staff were friendly polite and very helpful, the hotel grounds were lovely and kept to a high standard, the dog day pen again was lovely although the gate floor catch was broken making the top catch difficult to open/close. We had a top floor room, where the shower runs by water pump if the temperature is above 25 the shower cuts out, we had to run it on cold until it built up enough pressure to turn temperature up, this took around 17 mins. But the staff were amazing, hotel was lovely and...

"They hosted a function which we attended, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the self catering room was lovely and well equipped and suited myself with mobility needs, as it was on the ground floor and had it's on entrance with only a couple of stairs, once inside the room it was all on one level, We also dinned in the hotel and the food was lovely."

"The location is great, we walked out from the hotel into the beautiful rolling countryside where there are abundant footpaths and lovely views. We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was really excellent and the service friendly and good. "

"We stayed at the cottage house which is outside the main building. It was very spacious and has an indoor jacuzzi tub which is why we booked it. The hot water is pre-heated, so it was just enough to fill the tub. There won’t be hot water after if you wanted a shower. Also, an important downside for us was the wifi signal is so weak that neither our phone nor laptops could pick any signal. Was a bit disappointed in that regard as the hotel is aware of the problem but made no effort to fix it....
