"The room was clean and warm, clean comfortable bed and with plenty of hot water in the shower. My only quibble would be that after my stay I had the whole day to spend in Scarborough and would have really appreciated a safe luggage room at the hotel. It meant I had to cart my overnight bag around with me which rather hampered my movement. On the other hand, the view from the terrace is spectacular and the hotel is slap bang next to the Tramway cars down to beach level. Which was nice."
"The issue with the hotel is the parking. A great hotel for us and our dog but the parking was an issue as my husband is disabled and we couldn’t get parked near to the hotel"
"Really good accommodation if you’re looking for a couple of nights in Scarborough. Some parking at the hotel for £6 per night but on street parking in the immediate vicinity for £5 for 48 hours (pay at hotel - absolute bargain). Very good breakfast in a nice restaurant directly overlooking North Bay. If you book a sea view room, that really is what you’ll get. Very happy to recommend. For the price out of season, it’s excellent"
"Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again."

"Lovely clean room , had a meal in the lounge bar lovely ambiance and plenty of room lovely fireplace lots of room to sit there are 3 different rooms you can eat we got shown the restaurant that was a lovely setting we had breakfast in there but we ate in the lounge , staff are very attentive polite and courteous very high standards looked after us very well , breakfast was lovely help yourself to continental items the they come over to take your hot breakfast plenty of choice could not fault any...
"We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment.
The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...

"This is the second time staying at lea’s cottage , & on both times I’ve never been disappointed. rms are spotlessly clean, good choice of breakfast options,& evening meals where exceptional, & all staff are really nice ,would definitely recommend staying at Lea’s cottage & l will definitely return next year"
