"This was a beautiful inn. We were well taken care of at check in. Tall ceilings, beautiful woodwork and the garden/landscaping was stunning. Our stay was short, so hard to provide a lot of feedback. We opted for breakfast at the sister inn, and it was fabulous! Our only suggestion is to provide portable fans at request or have available in the closet to help with the air circulation for those used to sleeping with one. "I found The Manor to be an unexpected jewel. It sits in the middle of an incredible park right behind it is the parks Arboretum and there is a delightful wildflower path close by. The room was on the small side. But it is perfect for a single traveler, or a couple the building itself is historic. Well-kept and lovely. Service is interesting, because there is no check in desk. "We had an outstanding stay at a Historic Inn (c. 1744). Inn Keeper Cherie was most helpful and a delightful hostess. Breakfast was outstanding. Located in Historic Old Salem. We will definitely return when we have more time to tour the Old Salem community and to become more schooled in the Moravian culture."
