"We stayed in an outside room which was nice but the walls were very thin so we could hear guests next door talking. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful."
"Very charming staff, great breakfast as well as thoughtful service, sorted a breakfast for my hubby to go and even remembered the order next day. Room was lovely and toasty, just what you need after a frolick in the forest. Slept very well. Lots of walks nearby, even saw owls. EXCEPTIONAL food, rare for these days they cater for folks with proper appetites! Loved the friendly field cat! Thank you for a wonderful time we loved it. 🙏"
"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart.
The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it.
The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn.
The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

"My new favourite place to stay when we come to Norfolk. A lovely hotel, amazing staff and really friendly locals. It was so lovely to see how busy the pub was with both food and drinks.
The food was incredible, breakfasts were amazing. We popped downstairs later one evening and just had a dessert and they were more than happy to just serve that.
All the staff were great, so friendly and went over and above when I mentioned something I needed for the room.
The room was great, loved the...
"The staff were really friendly and approachable. The meal I had was one of the best I've had in a long while.
The room was really clean with a Nespresso coffee machine which for me was a really nice touch as I love my coffee.
The shower was lovely and hot.
I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough.
Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere.
I was solo travelling and the staff were more than happy to chat while I enjoyed my drink at the bar.
I didn't have the breakfast as...
"Loved the pub experience. We have stayed in Bury before. Walking downtown to farmers markets on Saturday is awesome. Many pubs and restaurants in town The brewery at pub was excellent and I had a pint there to end my day. The breakfast was awesome every morning. Recommend staying at pubs the staff make everything perfect"
"Although this accommodation is off the main routes, it’s very comfortable, clean and the food very good for both breakfast & dinner, and will currently use again."
"Charming olde worlde room. Great size. Comfy big bed and excellent shower. Had a floor fan which was much appreciated.
Breakfast (full English) was top notch and great value."
"King room in the modern accommodation block was small but fine, a good find.
Dinner was great pub grub.
We hadn’t realised that breakfast is not available (Sun-Fri) but that was also fine."
