"It was a great place to stay. A little outdated but big and spacious. It only had a salt Shaker that was empty. Could use some salt and pepper and some spices. The shower pressure in the queen room facing the ocean was terrible. They other rooms they complained the beds were hard. But over all we had a great time. "

"Loved the renovation they completed to the property but was VERY dissapointed with the fact that the listing on Expedia is completely misslesding and false. They haven't updated pictures or property description. We were sold on a 3 bedroom villa and instead, it's a 2 bedroom accommodation. 2 People had to sleep in a sofa bed that wasn't the most comfortable or clean. "

"Rooms were clean. The beds were comfy. I like that you can use the Mayan resort facilities if you are staying at Kivoya. I was very disappointed that the villa didn't have a working pool, grill, washer and dryer. The wifi was terrible and one of the ceiling lights had a loose cover which was making loud noises while everyone was trying to sleep. For the price I paid I expect everything to be working. "

"We LOVED everything about the property. The staff is amazing, and super accommodating and everything was kept so clean. The ONE AND ONLY reason I'm NOT giving this five stars is that the bed was THE WORST BED I'VE every slept on in my life. It felt like falling asleep on the tile floor. This DEFINITELY needs to change. A comfortable bed is sooooo important! "
