"One night stay. Lovely place great hosts. Unfortunately I was woken by the room next door at 4am banging draws and bumping about until they left at 5.25am !"

"Touring southern Scotland, this location made a lot of geographical sense . I’d rate this a 3 star location. A bit remote ( not in a bad way) - it’s right on the firth of Solway and you can walk right out onto the mudflats . The hotel may be a bit aged but our room, restaurant experience and staff were all quite acceptable. Good location if you prefer being out of town and on the firth "

"We visited The Kings Arms hotel on a 3 night stay whilst motorcycling in the area. We were met by the friendliest member of staff who couldn't do enough for us, the room was a good sized, clean and very comfortable with 3 beds and a large modern bathroom. The evening menu had plenty of choice, sampling several options over the 3 nights, the food was excellent, i highlt recommend the haggis tower.
