"The one English-speaking reception staffer was very helpful and efficient. Good breakfast and aircon. Amazing robotic toilet seat/ auto flushing etc Nice shower. What I suggest is somewhere to hang our towels if we don’t need them washed every day. It’s a new hotel so we understand the new lifts are under construction. The 2 lifts make long waits for a high rise hotel. The TV turning on every time we enter the room is annoying. "

"First off, the address is wrong. It directs you to JOMO hotel in another town that is not Fenghuang. We got in late at night and had to spend an hour sorting this out with our Taxi driver’s help. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so the music is blasting in your room. Don’t expect to get any sleep because it’s so loud that it almost feels like you are sleeping in a nightclub. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. I’m not sure how it got this rating. This definitely feels like a 1 star motel....

"This family owned hotel is very clean and conveniently located near Tianmen Cablecar. The hostess made a nice noodle soup with egg for breakfast; he made me feel like home. The only downside is that the hotel is located in an alley. I got to Zhangjiajie at 10p without a phone or anything for that matter. So just know that you will walk through an alley and make a left to another alley. There is another hotel next to this one and an empty coffee shop in front. But beautiful hotel, and very nice...
