"We had a family bedroom with two beds in a quite spacious room above reception. The room was ok but a little tired. Hotel is on the outskirts of Peterborough and we stayed there for easy access to Burghley house and Stamford Village which are 20 to 30 minute drive away. "Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"We have used this hotel on a number of visits to Cambridge. The on-site parking and convenient location are the main attractions. Parking this time was more expensive than I expected (£18). Minor maintenance issues in the room. Don't be late for breakfast - they clear the buffet at 9:30 sharp."

We asked for an additional fan and they refused our request. After asking again in 24 hours time they gave us one more fan.
