"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Tolle Unterkunft in super Lage - wir hatten die Familiensuite und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Zimmer war sehr groß , liebevoll eingerichtet und hatte sogar Blink aufs Meer - der Check-In war super einfach und das Personal nett und hilfsbereit - wir haben nichts zu beanstanden und kommen gern wieder"
"All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful. We ate at the pub and the food was good sized portions and of a good quality. The breakfast was particularly good!
The room was quirky and of a good size.

"Upon leaving Tavistock it was quite an adventurous scenic drive traveling to Kilworthy Farm and received a friendly greeting from Sandra when I arrived. I found my 2 day stay during August 2026 enchanting; " Far From The Madding Crowd". My hosts inclusive of Arthur were charming, obliging and helpful serving delicious wholesome food. I had two nights sound sleep in my comfortable room and bed. The location and accommodation are full of homely rustic charm."
"Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food.
Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected.
Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus."
