"Our four nights stay was flawless. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfasts were a great start to the day. At every point and interaction the staff were friendly and top-notch. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend the hotel."
"Worst hotel/motel experience of my adult life, and I travel a lot.
The room smelled of human body odour and the walls were absolutely paper thin.
I ended up leaving after one hour and paying not much more for a nice B&B 5 miles away."
"Beautiful location to explore the New Forest.
Staff are exceptional.
Food was very good and well presented, I had the salmon, with broad bean and pea fricassee, asparagus and potatoes for dinner, I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Room was a little dated but perfect for what I needed (room 6), it was very relaxing having a bath with the window open looking out at the trees and sky."
"So impressed with our superior room, with terrace and a lovely hot tub! Such good value for money.
The room was so spacious and perfect for a 2 night stay. Great walks very close and Fordingbridge is lovely for a wander.
The Three Lions pub was so nice, the food was great on both nights, really friendly and polite staff.
We are planning on returning for our anniversary weekend next year."
"Unique room in a converted 1885 wagon was fun! But pretty rustic, don't expect big luxury.
No toiletries (soap) were provided, but there were towels.
The pub has good pizza!"
"Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend"
"More remote than I realised but wonderful room, very comfortable and a lovely Continental Breakfast. Double glazing was very effective and necessary as with the window open (which I prefer) the road noise was quite something due to an adjacent motorway! I would however definitely return!"
"Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself.
Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you.
it was a dream."
"The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was mostly OK, but the carpet had a hole in it and didn't quite reach the edge of the room, and I'm afraid I was rather put off by a long dark hair lying on top of the white pillow when I arrived. I would have appreciated the one cup in the room being replaced with a clean one after the first night.
The ensuite shower room looked good with a large walk in shower and would have benefitted from a shelf in the shower area for shower gel.
