"I liked the edge of town centre location, everything was walkable, the staff were very helpful and friendly
The parking was good, but expensive at £11.25 per 24 hours
I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses's and the one thing that let this one down was the breakfast, when compared to elsewhere, the breakfast buffet itself was in a very cramped alcove and the selection wasn't that great."
"Very expensive for the type of hotel! We were disappointed no breakfast included in the price The toilet seat was peeling The taps had lost their labels ..disgusting ! In the night I walked by my bed to the the “step into the loo “ and nearly broke my toe scraped my my back on a badly placed wooden and brass door stop We will never visit this hotel again and would like a refund"
"Had a really spacious and comfortable room. Couldn't fault it for the money, great value. Are dinner at the restaurant and it was good too. Easy check in and out with friendly staff."
"We stayed there following a nearby wedding. the room was clean and tidy on arrival, well stocked with tea/coffee/biscuits and bathroom products.
Breakfast the following day was an excellent full english.
Staff very polite and helpful.

"Perfect accommodation for my 2 children and grandchildren. Rented 2 lodges for a wedding locally at a good price for 6 adults and 5 children. Ate in club house and the 2 boys enjoyed playing golf on the par 3 and practicing on the driving range. Recommend."
"Location was a plus since you don’t have to deal with congested traffic in the city. Free parking an obvious plus. Food was decent. Staff and service very good. The only real negative was one of hygiene. It was noticeable that when customers used the toilet facilities and failed to wash their hands, they would return to the restaurant and handle the utensils stacked in the containers on the table. In future, I would take wipes and clean before using."
"Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50"
