"Location, staff all good. Didn’t like hard floor. Mattress was the most uncomfortable I have slept on. First night I hardly slept. Was better 2nd night only because I folded duvet over and slept on it. Kettle nowhere near a plug!!"

"A decent hotel if visiting the Anvil Theatre. Stayed Saturday night so a little street noise around midnight. Nice bar. Didn't eat as menu limited. Staff very pleasant. Kept running out of breakfast food between 09.30 and 10.00am. Having said that very good value for money and will stay again when visiting the Anvil."

"The hotel and facilities were very good. The restaurant needs to review their menu especially as the only form of potato is skin on fries. Not everyone wants fries and naybe a little more finer food and less like all other chain restaurants. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Nice clean hotel, but bedrooms very dated. Window held together with worn out cello tape. OK in the summer but I imagine cold in the winter. Shower head would not stay up and cubicle old and rusty. Plug sockets loose and TV aerial socket fell out. "

" Bit concerned about hotel location and three star rating, however really surprised at how close to town of Windsor, castle and other facilities. Room was clean, comfortable and little to complain about other than a tile spacer left by a tiler who had recently grouted bathroom shower (room 202). Staff were there to help and ensure guests had a good stay. Breakfast was well displayed, plenty of choice and quantity. Liked the takeaway coffee cups and sandwich bags for those guests wanting a grab...

"Beautiful old property,rooms could do with an update,very outdated and don’t match the style of the actual property,the wedding reception room which I’m guessing was an extension has white plastic windows which doesn’t look right"

"Beautiful property right on the river. Quaint restaurant. The only problem was that the shower didn’t work and tub bath was only option. The staff and restaurant was very nice. "
