Heard a lot about the timeshare lady and yes I could see where that could be an issue for people but I believe they have adjusted now and have a very nice lady making the first contact to try and schedule you a timeshare appointment. They offered some vouchers and money but we just refused, took about 15 minutes and they gave us our wristbands which you honestly don’t need anyway....

"Our stay was perfect. The staff at HCR made us feel very welcome and at home. The after hours check in was super easy too! The room (D1) we had overlooked the entire courtyard to the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. I would say if you are considering preparing a lot of your own food, bring a sharp knife. We also would suggest replacing the dustpan in D1. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The coffee shop was also a real treat....

"Ok, so here's the thing. We didn't actually stay at Poipu shores. I've toured the property, it is lovely, and I will certainly rebook there !! But, there was maintenance being done to the property that meant it wasn't available. Castle management (thank you, Maile!!! you are amazing!!!!) reached out to me before the trip, and booked us in a phenomenal unit with their sister property, right down the road. 10/10, would absolutely recommend "

"The house is beautiful with nice furniture and a great outdoor space. But most people will want the negatives so here goes. The AC doesn’t keep up and is set at 69 degrees but the temp in the house especially upstairs stayed between 74-77. Too hot for me to sleep. There was construction going on at the house next door so you woke up to that at 8 during the week. Not that big of a deal, minor inconvenience. Here’s the real fun.
