"One of our favorite stays in Iceland! The main house has great dining options (dinner and breakfast) as well as a very friendly and accommodating staff. Walking around the property and petting some of the horses completed the experience. The guest houses were beautiful, clean, and secluded from the daily hustle. "We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently being renovated (restaurant is closed so breakfast is in another hotel 10 minutes walk away) and my room felt like it had been rushed. The bathroom ceiling wasn't finished properly (grout missing from around the tiles and badly painted), there wasn't a night stand next to the bed, had two single duvets instead of one double. Just little things that they should do better for £200+ per night."

"When we turned off the road toward the property, we thought our GPS wasn't working. It looked like we were going out into a beautiful, remote area with nothing but views. True, except for the wonderful cabins and main area of this property. Really nice and quiet and remote with beautiful views everywhere.
