"The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side."

"Nice fresh breakfast, made at the moment for you."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean"

"The property was advertised as being pet-friendly but on arrival they couldn’t accommodate our King Charles Cavalier so I had to travel home to Kent with my dog, leaving my daughter and partner at the hotel. I then had to travel back to the hotel early the next morning to collect my family."

"Really old hotel lots of character starting to look very dated in rooms Really could do with a refit and some modernisation"

"It's very nice and in a beautiful location."

"The check in was terrible couldn't speak English. The place needs updating . Says park free if you stay in hotel then charge 5 pounds at reception very poor no wi fi you think they would give free parking but no"

Enormous room by modern standards. All fixtures and fitting working 100%. Very friendly, helpful, professional staff. Lovely towels, bed linen. Immaculately clean, new, fresh. Delightful location. Stunning NT woodlands and "Devils Punchbowl" only 500' from the hotel. WONDERFUL play area for kids... all manner of things to...

"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...
