"Our room was great and the staff were very helpful, breakfast was good and Maggie, our attendant, was brilliant.
The hotel just seems a little tired but the amenities and meals were very good as was the sea view."

"Minus:) carpets in the corridors where filthy, there was an unpleasant smell . Found cobwebs in the corners of the room out of reach. Good :) the bed was comfortable kitchen was good."

"My colleagues who stayed there were appalled at the state of this place . The room was filthy and look at the state of the shower screen - covered in Algae .
The pictures on Hotels.com look good but probably taken
about 10 years ago when the place was last cleaned .
The boys were given another room but it was just as bad so they checked out without staying there at all. "

"First room they sent us to hadn’t been made up and stunk. No service throughout 4 night stay. No bar. No restaurant. Lift needs attention. No accessibility. Decor old and tatty. This was our second stay and gone downhill. Won’t be staying again. Expensive for facilities you got. Plus side, our one encounter with staff was pleasant and helpful. "

"The carpet in our room was so old and in places appeared to be mouldy… we had a tiny basin in the room (and no basin in the en-suite) which was partially overhung by a shelf that made it very difficult to use properly and was likely the cause of the mould in front of it. Our ‘en-suite’ was cramped and the shower cubicle had mould in the sealant and grout. The extractor fan did not work and therefore the bathroom and bedroom felt and smelled damp when we returned after a day out- it was 26...
