"The carpet in our room was so old and in places appeared to be mouldy… we had a tiny basin in the room (and no basin in the en-suite) which was partially overhung by a shelf that made it very difficult to use properly and was likely the cause of the mould in front of it. Our ‘en-suite’ was cramped and the shower cubicle had mould in the sealant and grout. The extractor fan did not work and therefore the bathroom and bedroom felt and smelled damp when we returned after a day out- it was 26...

"Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed."

"Do not book here. It is closed and no one there. The owner has disappeared. I have reported to hotels.com and they need to be removed. I could not access and hotel was in darkness. Eventually got a refund but took ages to sort ! Avoid at all costs "

"Everything abou the experience of staying there was awful booked a room with two rooms and was told there were no rooms left. So the owner had to make us wait an hour to make a single room for 4 people to share! While making the room we were told to come back later when the single room is ready. And when we came back to the hotel we entered the single room it was small smelly and had dirt and no amenities whatsoever. We had a small child with us as well. The only god thing from this awful...

"Lovely clean room. So good to have cotton sheets. We stayed 3 nights and slept so well. The bed was comfortable, and as the building is on the edge of Great Yarmouth very quiet. The boating lakes,gardens and cafe where opposite. We stayed on the ground floor so we couldn't see the sea but that was a short walk. Breakfast was very good."

"Beautiful property, lovely room, and great staff. Peter was an absolute treasure on check-out, made us feel so welcome and made us feel right at home. I loved the cosy, family feeling of staying at Fritton. The noise however was too loud, and we got woken up by our neighbours leaving for breakfast. Our room (Lady Scott) is above an entrance and each time the door slammed shut the room shook, to the point it woke us up. I do feel that the sole purpose when paying to stay somewhere, sleep quality...
