"Visiting family in Reading so location was perfect. Plenty of parking and free of charge. Room was basic, clean apart from dust on bed frame and dressing table. Lovely clean white bed sheets and big white fluffy bath towels. Plug hole on sink and bath needed a good scrub. Reported to reception that the shower water was not flowing away very well and also when boiling the kettle steam was escaping onto the handle. Husband had breakfast, plenty of choice and good quality. We paid £55 in total...

"Hotel is directly across the street from a modern shopping mall with lots of food choices. There’s a John Lewis department store. Walk through t the mall’s other side to find a major bus center including the Oxford bus to Heathrow. The hotel has 2 guest elevators, only one of which worked during my 4-day stay. "Our room was upgraded – thankfully. It was quite comfortable and plenty of hot water we had dinner in the hotel one night which was dreadful and breakfast in the morning. We waited nearly an hour for our cook cooked breakfast to come along. Very poor."
