"Newly refurbished, still a few problems. Light on desk not working, no mirror for ladies to see when drying hair but told they were arriving that day. Difficult working the shower. Had to call for assistance so need instructions on the door of how’s to turn on and off and direct to overhead or hand held. Otherwise very satisfied with the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A delicious breakfast. We have stayed there before and would so so again."

"Stayed here with my daughter, while my husband was in nearby hospital, the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and meals and service were great. It is set in lovely grounds. Would definitely recommend. "

"Extremely beautiful home inside. Very clean rooms with good ameneties (shower gel, tv, iron, plenty of plug sockets). The bathroom was very clean but would benefit from a reform in the next couple of years. Very quiet room. Only downside is that the restaurant is closed on Sundays which I hadn't realised so had to pop out for food. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"The staff on reception were friendly and helpful. We ate lunch in the clubhouse which was nice. The spa area was well presented and clean. Definitely worth a visit. The room was clean apart from the cobwebs. High dusting required. Bed was comfy enough. We had one of the older rooms. It was all perfectly adequate. The only criticism is the weird noises. Not produced by people but perhaps bad plumbing or extractors. This happened in the late evening several times and then in the...
