The convenient Frankfurt Airport bus operated by Lufthansa stops at the Hilton, a 10-minute walk away. Rooms are bright and recently renovated. There was a number to call as you need a code to get in the building when reception isn't open which is only between 1 and 9 pm. They told me that they normally send a code and instructions via text but Expedia didn't send them my phone number. "Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated. "

"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."
