"The inside was better than we expected from the outside: rooms were large, clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Right across from the train station & easy walking to restaurants and grocery stores. Close to the Old Town for a nice walk after supper. Definitely recommend!"

"Lovely, modern hotel up a hill above Brig. It's nothing fancy (it's owned by the Catholic Church and also serves as home for several nuns), but very comfortable. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was straightforward with muesli and eggs with cheeses and some meats."

"There are 2 properties, one is the main hotel, Adastra, and the other is AdHoc which is located a short walk away and has very limited on site facilities. The main Hotel is where I stay and the restaurant/bar is very good. Excellent food and very friendly staff. On my last visit I needed to get to the train station urgently and no taxis were available. "Great location, parking easy. The room snd view are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. I hadnt realised that there would be no maid service, its not a deal breaker. Theres also no shampoo but there is soap and washing up liquid. Again this is fine but just thought some people would like to know what is and isnt included. "

"Family run, I was overwhelmed with the kindest of the owners and the staff. So helpful and it was genuine. Lovely, lovely people and there are quirky things around the hotel, books, cards, games etc ! It was like home from home: It was such a wonderful stay, that I extended my holiday again and again In addition the evening menu and breakfast was exceptional, every time. Nothing was too much bother and it really made my holiday in Saas Fee a brilliant one. The evening meals are superb....

"I stayed in this small family hotel almost every year since 2016 at the end of August or beginning of September. Good breakfast, spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, hamam), very friendly and helpful owner. Also, when you stay during the summer, you will get a free cable car pass (+local buses in Saastal) in a form of an electronic pass. The area is very calm especially compared to Saas Fee and Zermatt. Having a car definitely helps if you want to have a dinner in one of those fancy restaurants in Saas...

"The old monastery is beautiful and fully renovated. The rooms are massive and the garden and terrace areas are lovely. Breakfast is great also. The only issue I had was that there is a lot of street noise since the property runs beside a major thoroughfare up to the school and down into the town. Our room (122) is likely to be the noisiest so avoid it if possible. But a fabulous stay none the less."
