"Everything is good except room size is too small. We stayed in Mountain View room. Receptionist at Front desk was very nice. Breakfast buffet was very good. It has lots of parking space. We rented car from KEF and returned it to Down town rental office. Local Taxi service was good & It costs 22 USD. "

"1. Anytime we opened the door, an alarm would sound. 2. Very strong sulpher smell — half the time I couldn’t tell whether it was super or someone forgot to shower. UGH. 3. Pullout sofa was extremely uncomfortable so we wound up putting the mattress on the floor. 4. I asked for a beer at the bar and the lady told me that they were out of Gull. I asked if they had any other beer and she said, “we have boli”. I asked her what type it was and she rolled her eyes at me and said, “it’s beer!”...

"This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen."

"The hotel itself and the staff were wonderful - the room was very cute and the shower was great! This is in a VERY loud part of town on the weekends - I'm glad we were on the 5th floor, but the street was very loud both from people and music well into the night. I would only recommend this hotel to heavy sleepers. The blackout curtains also need to be larger. There is light that comes in from the top and bottom, as well as in between the curtains, which is hard in the middle of June. Staff...
