"You get what you pay for. Shower was clogged and very dirty. Toilet never stopped running. Window was open with no screen on a roof top. Easy access for robbery. The lady at the desk was very nice and tried to accomodate a new room with working shower. But no rooms were available. Only parking garage available down the road, but affordable."

"The hotel is a bit shabby and run down but the linen was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot. So all in all ok for the price. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that."

"comfortable, quiet, great location and extremely helpful staff"

"Historic hotel that has more charm than new, impersonal ones. I loved the staircase! Felt like royalty!"

I wish more UK hotels would consider this oversight!"

"Was disappointed in evening meal previous stay it was good this time was tasteless"

"This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the stunning Loch Ness. Very comfortable room and the food was wonderful!! The breakfast was one of the best on our trip to Scotland!"

"The bunk room was very clean and spacious and the kitchen excellent, although could not find cutlery. Bring esr plugs incase, like me, you end up sharing with a snorer."

"Clean and updated room but very tight. Shower was a tiny corner unit, which was alright for a night but would not want it for longer stays. Location was convenient but would not be great for those with walking or physical challenges as city centre is down below a long set of stairs, but once down you are right in the heart of city centre"
