"Easy parking for a few cars, The Castle Hotel is a good place to stop in the area. The staff were very helpful and the check in and out was very easy but the rooms and amenities would benefit from a bit of maintenance and a deep clean."

"The staff were lovely, easy to talk to and welcoming. Clean comfortable spacious room. Lovely historic building with guest information book in the room explaining the area and its history. Marvelous breakfast choices. If something needed changing the staff responded perfectly. Didn't have time to use the gym/pool but other guests seemed happy. Look forward to the opportunity to return. "Hot bath tap didn't work so moved to another room. The curtains in there were so thin that the outside lights were so bright in my room and made it really hard to sleep. The whole place needs an upgrade. Beautiful building but lots of damp water leak patches in ceilings of corridors and in therestaurant."
