"Great stay, service and location. The bathrooms could do with some improvement though. The shower curtains are terrible and water just floods the whole bathroom. There are no hangers for the towels either. Apart from that (which wasn't an issue as such), we had a great stay. Thank you"

"Overall, very nice day excellent room breakfast and staff couldn’t be faulted. Short walk to the seafront and Pavilion for an adorable park. All it needed to have made it a five star rating would be a grab handle in the shower where you entry an exit as it’s very slippery and I think the grab handle was in the wrong place and very small thing no toilet brush."

"Typical Holiday inn Express. Bit chaotic on arrival - better signing to entrance when driving would be helpful & bigger area to unload as no space - had to drive into large underground car park (plenty of space) but then walk back long way carrying stuff to hotel. Room was fine though bed mattress sinking in middle a bit & noise outside woke us early on Sunday. Sunday breakfast at 09.30 was certainly peak time - only one poor woman racing around trying to clean & clear tables was woefully...

"This hotel is 190 years old and quaint. If you like history then you'll love staying here. Great English breakfast. Warning for all you I-phone, I-Pad junkies. "The staffcwee amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged a disco/karaoke on the Saturday night so we could all enjoy the evening at the hotel. We paid the dj, but no cost for room hire. The themed rooms of celebrites was amazing. We had over 40npeople staying on the Saturday. Everything thought itcwas fantastic. "
