"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "

In saying that, I wanted to find somewhere that would be fun and different. When we came across Gorgeous Stays I knew we must book it! "The cabin is an apartment. Like 10 guest to a cabin. Had a hard time parking because of all the construction lumber piled up in the parking lot. Also no electrical outlets in the bathroom. ☹️"

"Location is hard to find in dark, but loved it. Very peaceful except for neighbors barking hound dogs. Truly enjoyed staying there. 6-10 miles for food or groceries. Scenic ride or drive to get there. "
