"We had a lovely apartment with a separate bathroom. It had a sofa bed table chairs and a kitchen. The breakfast was expensive but very good food at lots of choices. The staff were very friendly."
"This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."
"As per previous reviews, this property was a great place to stay.
It's smack bang in Portsmouth Harbour and right next to the bus station and Gosport ferry so couldn't be more convenient if that's your goal. It is a very urban location but a nice view of the harbour on one side but the bus station on the other.
Breakfast was included in the rate and Excellent! Even the coffee was great (and having just returned from France, UK coffee is normally a step down).
Unlike many properties like...
"This small hotel is right at the base of the medieval city of Carcassonne, and had amazing views of the ramparts from our room and from a small roof terrace. Staff were really helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants. The walls between rooms were a little thin, but the location was so quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a small hotel, and the beautiful garden next to the breakfast room was truly delightful. Highly...
"A comfortable stay and friendly staff looked after us during our stay.
The hotel has a lovely restaurant with a fine dining menu and nice decor.
A convenient private car park is available on site too."
"The hotel is located very close to the Medieval City of Carcassonne, and we could even see the castle walls from our room window. It is also very convenient for walking to other attractions and even to the newer part of the city.
The lady at the front desk, Caroline, was very warm, friendly, and helpful.
Our room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet, which met our main requirements for a good stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of...
"Vieillissant, bar de douche ne tient pas, boite de reivation apparente, clim vielle et peu efficace, énormément de bruit (couloir, porte, voisin)... je ne reviendrait pas. J'ai choisi car je connait cette enseigne et que j'ai toujours bien séjourné pour un prix raisonnable . Il y a des offre a prix très proche au alentour ou je l'espere nous seront plus paisible."
"A great stopover on our journey through France! The hotel was conveniently located to visit the medieval city and accessible from main roads in and out of Carcassonne. It was clean and modern with really helpful, friendly staff. The pool was a real bonus on a very hot day and we loved the grapevines lining the path into reception! Not seen that before!
Our room was clean and comfortable with air con."
