"I should have done more homework. Property is very tired and old. The cigarette butts out the front door was my first clue in approach. There was mould in the shower tiles. Will never be back."

"We reserved this hotel because it accepts dogs. Using a third-party provider, we saw a $25 fee listed, but a message later indicated an additional charge. I was upset and wrote back that this wasn't stated on the 3rd party website, and the staff waived it. On arrival, the front desk employee tried to collect those fees, so I pointed to my message confirming the waiver. An older woman came from the office and created a scene before other guests, telling me to check the website for details. This...

"Great service! Room was super clean and spacious ,comfortable bed, great shower. Quiet."

"We arrived at the peak of the beautiful fall colours and the property and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The jacuzzi was large and filled up nicely with hot water, but trying to turn the jets on, even at the lowest setting, had too much splashing and so we couldn't really use them. The breakfast was SO good, highly recommend."

"Location is great! Bed comfortable! Shower really nice! Would go back"

Second, on my second day, my room was cleaned and all my toiletries and other items, which I had left in the room, except for my suitcase, were taken away from the room before I had a chance to do my checkout. Other than that, staff members...

"Happy staying at this hotel. Staff are helpful and pleasant to speak or deal with. If I happen to go back to Dartmouth or nearby, I would stay at this hotel again."

"This was a very nice apartment hotel, close to downtown and with a cute cafe located right downstairs. I will warn for those needing overnight parking, check the street signs as not all streets allow overnight parking on certain nights. When parking get filled in front of and on the side streets, it can be difficult to find a spot. Would recommend to travel light as there is no elevator. The room was spacious and nice with lots of sunlight coming in. Would recommend for sure"
