"Great location for exploring Aldeburgh and the Suffolk coast. Very pleasant bar and restaurant areas. The Sea Spice Indian restaurant was particularly enjoyable. It’s an old building so there’s lots of stairs and at the time of writing the lift is out of service. The bedroom we occupied was small and comfortable for a short break, but the bathroom was a little dated. However, overall we felt it was good value and we would be happy to stay here again in the future."

"Its a very small quaint fishing village. We were there on a sunday to catch the ferry so most things were closed "

"Enjoyed my stay at the Whitehorse hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a mirror in my room, otherwise the room was satisfactory. I do think it would be good if the price of a breakfast was included in the overall price rather than having to pay separately.I also think that overall it is a little bit on the expensive side, but I understand they have to make a living!"

"Stayed here for a family event with my extended family. The room was spotless if a little dated. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean and the shower worked well. It does need a little investment, the furniture and furnishings are tired. Breakfast was good if limited in choice. All the team were pleasant. If you're looking for a comfortable, unflashy stay this hotel perfect."

"The hotel is currently going through refurbishment with freshly decorated rooms and a new fancy restaurant (MPW) being installed. Despite this my room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and in particular the young chap serving breakfast. Apparently the day I checked out was going to be closure for three weeks whilst works continue. I'm sure when everything is finished it'll be an even nicer hotel. Well done to the staff and management for continuing to...

"Hotel is older style, with large room. I was particularly impressed with the modernisation of the ensuite and very modern techno shower. Good size enclosed walk in shower and decent water temperature. I dined as a party of 8 in the bar area, food was very good and decent choice on the menu. Staff very helpful and made lockable arrangements for my cycle overnight. I took advantage of the 6.30am breakfast start which was excellent and good choice on the menu. No real downside experienced."

"I was staying in the ground floor room, which was very spacious as was the ensuite shower room. Nice touch of fresh milk in fridge. Wifi was okay. Got advice as to where to go for evening meal which was good. Great cooked breakfast. Lovely hosts."

Kirstie offered a varied breakfast menu, including some home produce. Our whole experience at Copperbeech was a delight and we would heartily recommend it."
