Expedition Lodge Estes Park
8/10 Good
"We've been going to the Expedition Lodge for years. The property is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and it's close to great hiking and downtown. This time we were surprised to find the free breakfast replaced by a restaurant. Not sure if that's only in-season, but it was empty both days we were there. Not that differentiated from others in that area now unfortunately. Plus one night our next door neighbor's dog barked for 2 hours straight while the owner was out."
Streamside on Fall River
10/10 Excellent
"There is no AC. Wasn’t terrible but something we overlooked. I’m sure most of the year it doesn’t matter but in peak summer it was pretty warm during the day"

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Estes Park?
The principal difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Estes Park is the standard of service and availability of creature comforts. Three-star hotels are typically more wallet-friendly and offer the services and conveniences you need to be comfy, such as breakfast, WiFi and a gym. You can count on a little bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upscale interiors, premium toiletries and extras like spa and wellness centers.
