"A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. "I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!"

"Great hotel and everything about it is spot couldn’t put a hotel in a better place for amenities whether it’s a drink some food or a bit of shopping I never had the breakfast this time round as last time I was disappointed as there was no beans and no bacon but I’m sure it’s improved but generally apart from the breakfast the hotel I could not recommend more nice touches with the pringles and chocolate bar in the fridge "
