"Friendly helpful staff. Canal view room though small (double economy) with not much floor space so anyone with a large suitcase will have problems. Has nice views and was surprisingly very quiet for sleeping except when people walk past the door talking at 4.45am in the corridor. Kettle in room and tv are good. If you need a fridge they have one in reception to leave things. Comfortable bed, good shower. Recommended and better than 3 stars."

"Hotel was very comfortable and clean. It is a bit far out of the city but there is a tram line nearby and it is convenient enough to get to. McDonald’s next door was the closest option for food. We paid for the breakfast at the hotel and it was very good, well worth it and had a lot of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "

"Very cool space and great for a few nights in Amsterdam. The train is a short walk away and the one night we missed the train home, we were able to take the boat across and walk. Highly recommend for a quiet nights sleep instead of staying in the midst of Centraal. "

"The hotel is at a nice quiet location that is close to lots of attractions, especially the museums. The bus directly to and from airport is just a few minutes walk away. The 24/7 front desk service makes me feel so at ease. The staff are very nice and courteous. The only drawback is that curtain in our second time stay room is not wide enough to cover the window. "Fantastic hotel, great restaurant and great breakfast - many options. Helpful staff, comfortable bed, really nice room. Only negative is how far it is from city centre. Metro is easy to figure out. Total travel time is 5 min walk to metro and 25 min metro to city centre. We actually enjoyed being away from the busy city centre. "
