"Unfortunately the hotel is under construction, so the pool or gym were not available, and it was very noisy during the day. However, our room was very spacious, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with our stay, but the hot food was never very hot and the area where the breakfast was served was very dark and dirty (probably due to the construction). Parking is also very limited, especially if you drive a truck. There is also no other entry other...

"The cottage was okay, I like a rustic space and it is that. The bed was comfortable and clean. However there are a few things I can't ignore. This was advertised as a honeymoon sweet. If you are looking for a romantic space this is not it. The bedroom area has little privacy and tacky heart decorations the room would be better off without. The biggest thing I can't ignore is how awful the finishes in the bathroom were. They covered everything in fake marble and did a poor job of it while they...

"Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable...
