Tiny bathroom - almost hit tiny sink Separate shower facing bed with glass door - no private dressing area. Did have a fridge that was old and rattled Had a nice deck but was shared with room next door that you could see into Breakfast very limited Room was small with minimal room for luggage. Room darkening curtains were very ineffective. "

"Good location to stay if visiting iceberg lagoon. Right at the bottom of the glacier in pretty remote area. Rooms comfortable if rather basic, quick and efficient check in. Good breakfast as part of the deal. Negative for restaurant closing early and the bar upstairs, with empty basic room with no decor, charging more than bars downtown Reykjavik, lol. Good alternative is a gas station across the road. Altogether seemed pricey for what one gets, but I guess being one of few options in the area...

We were in one of a cluster of mini houses but it felt like a private place on the bay. "I stayed her for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay. It is about a 20 minutes drive from Egilsstaðir and nice and quiet location near the lake. Comfortable room for a solo traveler. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Breakfast staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome. Reasonably priced when I stayed there. Would stay there again for sure."
