"Property is very tired in need of complete refurbishment. Some very old celebrity photos badly displayed and fading and curled at edges
The visual display behind reception showed a lack of skill in it's production which is indicative of a lack of care or attention to detail that sums up the hotel"
"This was a wonderful place. Friendly, welcoming staff! Lovely comfortable room. It was only about a 9 minute drive to the center of Perth. I would definitely stay there again."
"A mixed bag, this property needs deep cleaning - room was fine, but if you look closer a lot to be desired, examples - windows so dirty stopping sunlight, some mould in the bathroom or broken jacuzzi in the pool area, changing rooms falling apart, lockers don't close. When we entered Hotel you could smell damp in the corridors. Refurbishment and better maintenance should be a focus. Facilities are okay but is visible they're not maintained as they should be. Finally breakfast is unacceptable for...
"Room was very outdated. Walls and carpet dirty. Shower didn't work either freezing or burning. TV broken and wires out. Door broken and had to be slammed to shut. Not able to book breakfast. No spare pillows. No heating. Very noisy."
"Didn't realize it wasn't as convenient as they said it was, The hotel is beyond dated & expensive . 2/10 of the way down the road there are places to stay that are much better in quality and care. I actually didn't feel good about taking a shower in this hotel that's the bathroom was dirty . Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and it was hot in the room with very little air to make it comfortable. Almost a non-existent Wi-Fi. It's below Expedia standards as far as we're concerned. We've been...
"We loved this hotel, so beautiful! The rooms were great and beds very comfortable. We loved that our rooms had doors right out to the back garden, which was fantastic. Food and service were phenomenal ! I would definitely recommend this location."
"Really friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Large old building, our room was recently updated and was modernised nicely and spotlessly clean. It was very big but still warm with very large comfy bed and powerful shower. TV & Kettle in the room with normal sachets of tea/coffee etc Good breakfast offering kept warm and you could ask for GF bread, cereal and freshly made scrambled eggs. Nice coffee too. I liked the fact there seemed to be little waste as the offering wasn’t too...
"We had thought we booked the room shown on the website but that was not what we got. It was very plain, the bathroom needed pairing and no wall pictures or anything and the beds were terrible. Staff tried a little giving us a discount on supper, but hardly making up for our disappointment of looking forward to staying in a Castle environment. Especially with the cost."
"The outside of hotel is nice and the area. Rooms are big but need to be updated, especially the bed and bathroom, also was no extra toilet paper. Things I did not like, someone knocking at my door at 11pm and running off, when I mention to front desk they were like dont know but they do with people checking in, also got charge extra 25 pounds at check out and they cannot explain why or even respond to me. They put us in a room , right at front of stairs did not like that."
