"Lovely location, good food and good service from all the staff but disappointing niggles tainted the stay. No hot water on arrival after a long drive and day’s walking, little heat from the radiator, broken handle on the shower unit and noticeably loose flooring in the bathroom. The hot water was resolved before bedtime and the manager did all he could however far from ideal. This said if the issues are addressed it is a nice place to stay."

"The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly and there was a nice selection of snacks and breakfast items in our room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and the bar was good too. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI for our entire stay which made it difficult for planning some activities due to the fact everything is booked online these days. "

"This is a beautiful estate in the country. We stayed for about a week. We walked into town several ti.es at a little less than a mile. Phone reception is spotty, and wifi is only in the livingroom. "

"Waterfront hotel rooms are located behind their restaurant. You check in to your room at the restaurant. Our room was small but nicely furnished and had a large bathroom. A quiet courtyard has outdoor seating. Breakfast was included. It was order off the menu with a great selection. In fact this was the best breakfast of our 16-day vacation.This restaurant also serves dinner and I think it was the best in town. The hotel is located in the center of town but most places close at 9pm. "
