"Great staff ,clean and very good location."

"The Chilworth Manor is set in parkland adjacent to the Southampton Science park, so is quiet with plenty of space for car parking (though it can be a bit dark walking from car to hotel). Reception were helpful & friendly; my room was very spacious and everything worked, Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet including three types of mini-pastry, fresh fruit as well as cereals and typically English fried foods. But the best of all was the indoor pool - note it's only open to 8pm at weekends,...

"Location"

"Excellent and personable staff, clean and well maintained room, breakfast and dinner were excellent as well. Great location, in a lovely area near parks and the university and the port is a short bus ride or cab ride away."

"Web site shows car parking...there is no close parking"

"Although my stay was lovely, the hotel could do with upgrading their rooms. Everything in the room was basic where expectations were for a 4 star luxurious experience."

"Very friendly people"

"The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and filling. With tasty bread sausages and bacon. The staff were very helpful. I had to ask for help to switch the shower off as it seemed to get stuck. Unfortunately I was not able to use the pool and sauna as closed for maintenance. That had been what had attracted me to the property in the first place! Great location and easy walk to Gold Hill."

"Really good location. Room exactly as described, very clean. Bathroom small, burned myself against the radiator. It did warn it was hot- I can vouch for that. What was really disappointing was that I was expecting breakfast and it was not included"

"Really lovely room, older style, well priced hotel in the very centre of Andover. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Because the room was on the front, sadly, it was noisy at night - the Redbridge pub is open until 11pm most nights, midnight on Thursdays and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays !!!! Maybe request a room at the back of the hotel if you like a quieter night - but, of course, if you like a good night out why not join them! Thanks for a lovely stay."

"The room was great. There is a breakfast room downstairs which is open all of the time to get coffee and tea etc. We were leaving on a Sunday morning around 8am before breakfast started, but the staff were really helpful and put some food out ready for us (cereal and milk was already out anyway). The pub is lovely next door"

"Friendly and helpful staff , close to the city centre , walkong distance"
