"Great hotel with an attached restaurant at reasonable prices My Only 2 issues were there was nobody at the hotel reception just a phone number nobody answered Asked to have my room cleaned and it didn't get done so had to ask for more toilet roll and towels"

"Needed something to break up a long journey from the SW to the NE..... we booked online at about 715pm and checked in an hour later. Convenient for the journey being 10 mins from the motorway yet close to bars and eateries. We ate at a v good and well rated Indian restaurant 3 mins walk away called Shahi Palace. Packed on a Saturday night with a few free tables. Result. Hotel room exactly what we needed and clean/ functional and lovely staff. Decent included breakfast and free parking. Can't...

"Great conversion of old building with lots of steep stairs and corners. Busy bar below and my room was at track level to the main line through the station able to enjoy the throaty roar of passing freight trains. close to town railway station and pub nearby for evening meal. "

"Shame there is no stair access to floors. The lifts are slow and small. If thetecwas stairs access those of is not needing a lift could get to our rooms without a lift. The hotel is very nice and airey. Room was spacious, clean and in good decorative. Breakfast ws exvellent."

Slept reasonably, but would have appreciated better quality (ideally blackout) curtains. Self-serve coffee and pastries were greatly appreciated, and all experiences with staff were excellent."

"Rooms are very large, well appointed and clean. Breakfast was very good. Evening meal was OK. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy 4 mile drive into Stratford and parking very easy. There is also a bus stop outside with an hourly service. Would visit again. "

"Very convenient in the centre of the town. Hotel is quite shabby and could definitely benefit from an update. Upholstery worn on chairs and carpets are well worn in all the public areas and the paintwork is badly in need of redecorating. However the bedrooms were clean and adequate, the staff were lovely and really helpful. We ate our evening meal for 3 nights in the dining room and the food was delicious and service was really good. Breakfast was also really good. Would recommend ."
