"Nice hotel that is short walk to the centre. The staff were great and the welcome drink is a nice idea. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, not a huge selection but had all the usual things you would expect. Would happily stay again if I was in the area."

"This is a charming hotel with a lovely view of the river, the weir and green fields and hills. The working water wheel is especially appealing. Very peaceful and quiet, but only minutes from Bath City Centre, either walking or via convenient bus stops. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. "The hotel smelled of humidity. The TV in the room didn't work. I went to change the remote control 4 times. Finally, I asked them to test it in the room to see if it worked. They put the remote control down and left. I went upstairs and the TV still didn't work. Since I can't sleep without a TV, it was important to me. The hotel is definitely not worth the price they are asking. And they are especially asking for extra parking from the customers who have already stayed"

"What a pleasant experience, that I was not expecting from a budget hotel chain. I wanted a stop over and found the hotel to be excellent value, clean, comfortable and just what I needed for a very affordable price. The room was adequate for my needs, basic but still very well structured with coffee/tea amenities, small shower area and a comfortable bed.
