"Lovely place to stay. The only issue we had was the bed frame. The frame at the foot of the bed had a wire loop sticking out (part of the decorative structure) at thigh level which I accidentally walked into because the space between the wall and side of bed was a bit on the tight side. Still have a bruise one week later."
"We greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Oscar. The reception and preparation of the room was excellent. The facility itself is new construction and spacious. The amenities in the room, the dining area, and the outdoor seating area are really special. We especially enjoyed meeting Dantea, who is an excellent hostess and who made our stay extra special. Thank you and we highly recommend Hotel Oscar!!!"
"AVOID THIS HOTEL. Between the disgusting mold-like smell, overwhelming perfume, and disgraceful treatment of guests, this place is an embarrassment.
Even more concerning is the surrounding coastline. Nearby Kaštela Bay has a documented history of industrial pollution, with tens of tons of mercury discharged into the sea, contaminating seabed sediments. Not exactly reassuring when you’re visiting for the waterfront.
Inside, the hotel smells so musty that it seems they’ve tried covering it up...
"It is very exciting to reside in the heart of Trogir, in a UNESCO protected hotel where everything is 1-2 minutes away from you. The staff was extremely nice and very accommodating! I highly recommend Villa Fontana!"
