"Hotel was fine for a one night stay with good breakfast. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable, though rather small and I found it rather stuffy at night (though an electric fan was available in the room). Hotel is fairly central, convenient if arriving at Colchester Town Station and for town centre. It's not luxury but reasonable value for what I paid. Staff seemed quite welcoming too. "

"The White Hart is a lovely hotel and pub set in the charming village of Coggeshell. We stayed bed and breakfast for 2 nights. The manageress, Nicky, and her staff were welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean, inviting and quiet; the bed was especially comfortable, and we slept well both nights. "Check in was friendly and efficient even though a large group was arriving for a function. Room was clean and pleasant with a sea view ( a nice bonus ) and a decent size . Arriving back late in the evening staff were attentive , good humoured and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of generous proportions , once again with good natured and helpful staff. A very pleasant experience and one I look forward to repeating next time I'm in Clacton - Well Done"
