"The bar and restaurant were nice. It's not far to walk to the beach or the center of town. The food was nice but breakfast was a bit poor on one of our mornings. The bathroom was a bit worn, mouldy and dirty but other than that we had a great stay. "

Beds are clean, bathroom shiny clean, receptionists were very helpful and polite. I told her we start work at 8am so we have to leave at 7am, we don’t have time to have breakfast she kindly ordered us egg sandwiches (our choices) to be prepared before we leave in the morning. "Loved my stay at this lovely little hotel. Sad that it was only for 1 night. "

"Ample for what we paid. All working & fit for purpose, though I have trouble with stairs & being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a job as the lift wasn't in action. The sprinkler was hanging off the ceiling, but didn't effect our stay. Quite a noisy room, being directly above the moving bollard but luckily I brought my earplugs so didn't bother me too much."

"Lovely hotel and room. The room had a bath in bedroom, the would accommodate 2 people. Plenty of various covers and water in the fridge. Offsite parking near the hotel, which is cheap. A few disabled spots at the side of the hotel. "

"On check in Jason was very helpful and we were able to check in early, The room was clean and quite adequate for a 2 night stay. The hotel is about a 15 min drive from the center of Swansea.The center of Swansea was a little disapointing, Next to the hotel there is a Harvester and we are here on the first night. It was standard pub food and reasonably priced. Woul d use the hotel if in the area again, "

"Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. The WiFi wasn’t very good and to get the gym or pool access card you have to go to reception and hand in your key which is a bit odd. Other than that, superb!"

"Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. "

"Though the Hotel is on Cardiff Road you can easily miss it parking is easy. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are modern and immaculate bar is small and very tidy. I had a big English breakfast. A great place to stay with a view of Aberfan "

"It’s a lovely friendly hotel where you immediately feel relaxed. The staff are lovely and the breakfast selection is terrific."

"The setting is a lovely village green, a great place to try out the various ales on tap. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well equipped. Although we found the beds uncomfortable. Breakfast is recommended especially at £7.50 per head, per morning (if you pay upfront). Although there are items missing that were on the online menu, everyone including me kept asking for the pancakes! Would highly recommend, as long as you can stomach the usual noise associated with a pub and unsupportive...

"We stayed in a dog friendly room and our dog was also allowed to eat with us in part of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is well placed for the gorgeous Gower. Three Cliffs Bay, Oxwich Bay and the beautiful Rhossili and Worms Head were a short drive away. "
