"Last minute deal , firstly the food is good staff are fantastic bar person working really hard his name was mario he's was always pleasant even when people are rude , secondly our room had issue's not able to plug chargers in or hair straighteners because plug sockets are attached to the dresser i did speak to reception and they are going to sort this but the room was clean yes the carpets need changed but they where clean we would return "

"The location is great with walk way along the river and it is closer to most shops for those that fancy home made food. Lots of parking space and it is secure. Notwithstanding, the Wifi was rubbish. Perhaps this was just something unusual because I told the staff, that I could not use the wifi due to low strength and constant disconnection."

"Absolutely superb from top to bottom, if I was going to be really picky th3 portion size in the restaurant was a little small for me. The rest was superb and you don’t get views like that anywhere "

"Beautiful facility - we stayed in the lodge which some spots needed repair work. Not walkable or really close to town or train - need a car, as local taxis took a while to come. No shuttle available. Restaurant is excellent, breakfast was good. We are going back - will have a car next time. "

The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. "Lovely big room. Very clean. The bathroom was amazing with both a shower and separate bath. So clean that I went out to buy bubble bath to have a soak! Highly recommend this hotel! "
