"The assitant at trueville was very polite and friendly allow going to hermitige hotel for my breakfast was arkward im disabled and i have a small mobility scooter i could charge the battery at hotel im very gratefully appreciated it being battery charge at hotel the breakfast was huge at trouville and was very good i think the helpfull staff at trouville hotel very short of staff but worked and helped everyone as best they could thanking you 😀 all staff for all your help being disabled the staff wear excellent especially the reception lady "

"The prices are very reasonable, the breakfast buffet is great. The evening food options for us weren’t brilliant, I would suggest using one of the many local eateries for evening meals. The SPA is Devine, really spacious and the two treatments I had were reasonably priced and absolutely fantastic, The main swimming pool is also good, it’s open long hours and generally isn’t too busy (although we stayed here out of peak holiday times) they have happy hour at the bar so you can have some drinks on a budget if you want to. the bartenders were really nice as well. "

"Good location, double bed mattress wasn’t comfortable and had issues with people hanging around the patio area at 7am Saturday morning and then in the evening there were people drinking in the patio area until 12:30am despite it meant to be closed at 11pm. Where it was warm the windows were open so could hear everything. Son enjoyed the swimming pool. Second time staying at the hotel, will come back again. "

"Overall, the Ocean Beach Hotel provides good value for money, except for the high daily parking charge for residents. The reception, restaurant and house keeping staff we interacted with were all polite, helpful and efficient. Our room rate included breakfast and dinner. The food was very good generally and especially the fish dishes, although a few dishes had a tad too much garlic and we had a fire breathing chilli con carne one evening. Use of the facilities in the neighbouring Suncliff and Cumberland hotels is a good point. We stayed in a room which had been refurbished (it was not clear how long ago). However, the standard of workmanship was very poor with paint splashes on the wallpaper, headboard, mirror, tiles and switches, and most fittings were secured wonkily. These give an impression that the work was done on the cheap. Finally, the radiators in the third floor corridors were on throughout our stay which made them and the rooms very warm most of the time. Ours had a large desk fan to help cool it. Our expectations of the hotel were not high but we would probably stay there again given the good value it provides and pleasant staff."
