Food was very good my only recommendation would be having a fan in the rooms as the room was incredibly hot and the building being grade 2 had original looking sash windows and were delicate so we didn’t dare open them. Overall a great stay and highly recommended "

The church dates from the 13th century onwards, the chancel has been rebuilt twice, in 1741 and 1870. There is a western tower with arched openings to north and south allowing pedestrians to pass through, a nave with clerestory, north and south aisles, south porch, and chancel with apse. The tower is of three stages from the 14th century, but the belfry stage is from the 15th century. It is buttressed with embattled parapets. There are six bells. The church is famous for its one-handed clock, which dates from the 17th century. The dial is 16 feet in diameter and believed to be the largest single-handed clock in Europe. The nave arcades have five bays with octagonal piers. The north aisle is from the 14th century, with the south aisle being from the 15th century, both have human head label stops. At the east end of the south aisle is a Lady Chapel. The nave has a 14th century king post roof. The 14th century chancel arch once had a rood loft, and the access doors still remain on the south side. The south porch dates from the 15th century and has a parvis above. The chancel, with polygonal apse, was rebuilt in 1870 by T.C. Hine and Son. The church contains several memorial plaques to members of aircrew from RAF Coningsby killed in flying accidents and WWII.

"A wonderful stay at the Lincoln hotel. We went to see Sting at Lincoln Castle the Lincoln Hotel was a perfect choice as within walking distance of the venue. Not to mention the hotel overlooks the Cathedral and gives stunning views of it. We decided at the last minute to eat in the hotel the food was top rate but i felt a bit sorry for the one lady running the whole thing however it was a tuesday night so maybe usually on weekdays they are not so busy. Breakfast was excellent and a lot more staff evident and seeing to everyone's needs so maybe the hotel had compensated for the night before. A really lovely stay. We will definitely go again. "

"I have stayed at this resort many times and it always serves me well. Set in beautiful grounds on a lovely golf course with splendor of wildlife, landscape and flora, even the hardest to please couldn't crack a frown at this retreat. The building is charmed in character, the staff at utmost professional and efficient, the spa, pool and gym facilities are second to none. As for the rooms, they are spacious, nicely decorated and furnished to high standards with full AC and blacked out curtains, the restaurant is lovely and the bar and adjoining garden area where you can also eat is well manicured and has a fantastic vista. You will not be disappointed and the vfm is incredible."

"Especially clean, staff were nice and professional, thankfully they had two fans in the cupboard as the room we were in was sweltering but it was one of the hottest days of the year so far didn’t have breakfast but it looked liked a good spread (Continental). The restaurant was busy on check in which says a lot about the food which is supposed to be brilliant so will deffo try next time. Bed wasn’t the comfiest but all in all would recommend the hotel and would be happy to take the family back 😬"
