"The hotel is in a perfect position on the promenade, free evening street parking was available and I think there is a payable car park too. Rooms were spacious, warm, clean, the tea and coffee tray was well stocked and soap and shower gel was available in the bathroom. Towels were large and soft, I felt that my duvet was too light but that’s just my personal preference. Breakfast was beautiful, everything you could want, fresh, well cooked and continuously replenished. The restaurant was huge...

Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. "
